adDRESSing childrens' needs globally

Recently, my baby girl and I have enjoyed time at the sewing machine. Soren sits in her little bouncer and we sing and "talk" and make little dresses.

We've been making these dresses out of pillowcases that we've either purchased from the local shelter or got from our (or someone else's) grandmas' closets.

These dresses for $20 each and all of the profits from every dress can purchase 2 fruit trees.

Here's the blurb from World Vision International Aid Organization ..."Mangoes, oranges, and other fruits are packed with vitamins and nutrients that growing kids need. In just two or three years, such trees can also yield enough fruit for much-needed extra income, offer shade from the sweltering heat, and provide seedlings to give other families their own start in tree farming. Bless a family in a country such as El Salvador, Bangladesh, or Zambia with a grove of fruit trees today!"

So, if you'd like to buy the dress, that's what I'm doing with the money from these. This is something fun that Soren and I get to share as we sew and pray for the girl that will both wear this dress and the girl that will benefit somewhere around the world.
